Okay. For those of you who are still clueless about this whole “mooncake” thing, let us tell you. The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming!
The Mid-Autumn festival, known as a time for friends & family reunions, is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the Chinese calendar. On that night, the moon appears to be at its roundest and brightest, and families will be seen at scenic spots and parks, lighting lanterns and eating mooncakes in the cool night air besides praying for a safe year ahead.
During this time, mooncakes are eaten throughout the month before the actual festival day, which is why it is also known as the Mooncake Festival. Therefore, Exabytes would like to take part in this joyous event and wish all of you, a very Happy Mooncake festival!
