Guns and snipers, check. Masks and helmets, check. Bullets, check. Barrel cover and vests, check.
Okay. Looks like we’re all set to go. They want a war? Let’s give them one!
A couple of days ago, Exabytes held our annual sports activity – paintball! The battle took place at Kelab Kombat, Permatang Tinggi, Penang which is known as one of the largest paintball battlefields in Malaysia.
In case you don’t already know, paintball is a war game usually played in an open field. The players are divided into two teams. Each player will be given his own set of air gun. There are two ways in playing the game, elimination method or capture the flag method. Players are eliminated when hit by a paint bullet. The remaining team wins the round.
As you can see, Exabytes soldiers were all geared up with our “war tanks and trucks” for our journey to the battlefield as early as 7.30am and reached our destination at about 9.00am.
Once we reached the war zone, we were briefed about the game and the safety we needed to comply during the game. And then.. the war began!
After the battle, everyone was drop-dead tired! However, it was a very exciting experience nonetheless. Wondering which team won on that day? Let’s check it out!
2nd runner up goes to..
The S.C.O.U.T warriors!
1st runner up goes too..
The S.H.A.R.P warriors!
and of course the ultimate champion for that day that won the battleship goes to..
the Real Phantom warriors!
Congratulations guys! And for those of you who are interested of playing paintball, further info are available at combatkelab.com.
